Your enquiry starts a conversation

Ware Solar is a trading name of Lenzie Consulting Ltd and an installer-introduction service. Describe your property, full postcode, electricity use and the equipment you are considering. Enquiries from outside the featured local areas are welcome too.

With your consent, we share the enquiry with a relevant partner installer. A partner can arrange a booking within 24 hours of receiving it. This means agreeing the next appointment; the survey date and installation timetable are confirmed separately.

The survey establishes what can be installed

The installer assesses roof condition, orientation, shade, access and the electrical supply. Mention any lease, listed status, shared ownership or planned building work. Existing solar customers should provide inverter details and available installation records.

For a rural outbuilding or converted premises around Ware, clarify the intended meter and cable route. The survey should identify questions that need further assessment rather than conceal them behind a fixed package price.

Review the written proposal

Check the panel and inverter specification, proposed layout, generation estimate and all price inclusions. Ask for battery storage and EV charging to be priced separately where you want to compare options. Keep payment stages and cancellation terms with the quote.

Verify the installer’s legal identity and any claimed certification through the relevant register. Ask which evidence will support an export-tariff application, and who supplies the product and workmanship warranties. Ware Solar does not carry out or warrant the installation.

Resolve permissions and the network process

Agree responsibility for planning advice, roof-owner consent, building-control matters and any grid application before work begins. These are separate checks. Confirm whether network approval is needed in advance and whether an export limit forms part of the design.

The installer sets the programme for scaffolding, fitting, electrical work and commissioning. Ask how the home will be accessed, when supply interruptions are expected and who to contact if the scope changes.

Take an active role in handover

Request the final specification, electrical and commissioning documents, warranty terms, monitoring access and isolation instructions. Ask for a demonstration of the system and, if included, battery or EV charging controls.

Confirm the aftercare contact and the export-tariff application steps. For a battery sold with backup, have the supported circuits and operating limits explained. Keep the records for maintenance and any future property sale.
